Customizer state incorrect

When using customizer for Enigma theme, I find that it doesn’t retain the proper state after changes are saved. Even after Save/Publish is carried out, when you try top navigate away from customizer, you get a message (see below).

Also noted one must back completely out of customizer and can no longer easily navigate backwards through menu options – only forward.
