Installed Plug-in, but don’t see it

Hi, I followed the instructions although I installed the plugin through my wp-admin site when I did a search for the plugin. Then I activated it in the admin settings and configured settings. I also checked to see if the plugin is in the wp-content/plugins folder. (Does it need to be in a directory within the plugins folder or can it just be dropped in there like the rest of the plugins?)

I tried logging off and checking but still no sight. Is it supposed to just appear on my home page or do I need to look somewhere else? My website is private for now as well…

I’m using Google Chrome v 55.0.2883.87 m, my Search Everything plugin is v8.1.6, and I’m running Windows 8.
