Some Shortcodes is not working

  • Hi,

    I’m using this plugin but now all the shortcodes are working fine except this 3 shortcodes
    [geoip_detect2 property=”city”]
    [geoip_detect2 property=”mostSpecificSubdivision.isoCode”]
    [geoip_detect2 property=”mostSpecificSubdivision”]

    do you know why only this specific shortcodes are not working?
    please help me, I really need this shortcode working [geoip_detect2 property=”mostSpecificSubdivision”]

    i see bottom of the GeoIP Detection setting page

    IPv6 not supported
    Your version of PHP is compiled without IPv6-support, so it is not possible to lookup adresses like “2001:4860:4801:5::91”. For more information see PHP documentation & user comments.

    is it the main problem you think?

    No, IPv6 support doesn’t matter because then your server probably doesn’t have an IPv6-Server-Adress.

    However, the shortcodes you cite above have typographic quotes, ie

    [geoip_detect2 property=”city”]

    instead of

    [geoip_detect2 property=”city”] <- note the ”

    I corrected the typographic quotes but no results.

    All the shortcodes are working fine but only this 3 shortcodes are not working:
    [geoip_detect2 property=”city”]

    [geoip_detect2 property=”mostSpecificSubdivision”]

    any idea?
