Extra fields not showing up in email and order

Hi,
After the custom fields have been entered and the user pressed on place order, those custom fields doesn’t show up on the order page nor in the email he receives.
Both the checkboxes ‘Show on order page’ and ‘Show on order e-mail’ are check though.
