• So we are loving the use of this plugin on our site.

2 things we like to see and are wondering about.

1st: We have it connected with a Discord Bot account, just like one does on the settings and all for it to post in our server when new posts are published. But it posts these not as the Bot User we made, but with the nickname/account “WordPress” ?? Is this intended, or what could be wrong? I have looked over the tokens and ID twice without finding anything thats wrong.

2nd: Please add some more features, like perhaps a way to customize the way it says things on the server. If the above mentioned issue gets resolved we would like it to be able to use @everyone for example which notifies those on the discord server of the msg the bot just sent.

Loving the plugin so far and hope to see it improved just a bit with above mentioned feature and/or problem fix.

    scream112,

Yes it is intended to say WordPress. The bot creates a webhook that handles the actual posting to the server. That webhook is named “WordPress”.

I chose to keep things simple and streamlined for the initial posting release.

We will look into allowing more settings to be configured through the WordPress admin interface, including message customization and webhook customization.

    Thank you for your feedback,

    Raymond

@scream112 I just wanted to let you know that in version 0.4.0 (not released yet) each message will be posted using your bot’s avatar and name.

Awesome! Really appreciate it, as it does make things look a lot better on our Discord.

Cant wait for the update ??

Is this feature working yet? Love the plugin so far, best I’ve found but really need to not advertise to the world that its coming from a WP website. Too many hackers looking for WP sites to hack as it is.

Please let me know. Even if I have to edit it in the files themselves, I’d love to know where I can do that.

    TIA
