I’m new to updraftplus. I want to know while the backup is in progress, can I close the wordpress page?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Yes you can leave the WordPress page while a backup is in progress and it will still complete the backup.

If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Hi ??
Another question. In settings, I set backup as weekly. So yesterday night I took a backup. But why the next scheduled backup is today?

    Hi,

The backup you made yesterday was a manual backup?

If so a manual backup does not affect the scheduled backup and the backup will run at the time specified.

If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

Sorry. But why that time is constantly postponing when I refresh the updraft page? When I sent screenshot to you it was “today, 10:50”, but now is “today, 13:10”

    Hi,

The time/date displayed on the left in your screenshot (under “Next scheduled backups”) is the current time.

The time on the right next to “Files and database” is when your files and database will next be backed up.

Then the time under that in green is the time you last backed up.

If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Best Wishes,

    Ashley

Thank you so much, sorry for confusing. Your plugin is awesome and also your support. I think this will be my last question!

Is there any difference in backup time if I set splitting size 4000 mb in compare to 400 mb?

    Thanks

During the backup my website went down, and I say database error. Hosting told me:

it appears that your VPS killed the MYSQL process automatically as it reached out of RAM:

Feb 6 14:24:25 vps kernel: [1875083.042052] Out of memory: Kill process 11038 (mysqld) score 96 or sacrifice child
    Feb 6 14:24:25 vps kernel: [1875083.042301] Killed process 11038 (mysqld) total-vm:1037552kB, anon-rss:198128kB, file-rss:0kB

So I couldn’t take backup. Is there any way to solve this?
