Trouble embedding slideshows in pages
-
I can embed a Picasa slideshow in a comment on a post, but I can not embed a Picasa slideshow directly into the post or page that I am writing? Why?
I am using the link Picasa gives me (same like when people embed YouTube videos etc), and in this case, it is:
<embed type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” src=”https://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf” width=”800″ height=”533″ flashvars=”host=picasaweb.google.com&captions=1&RGB=0x000000&feed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Fdata%2Ffeed%2Fapi%2Fuser%2Fanton.israelsson%2Falbumid%2F5193986197348306209%3Fkind%3Dphoto%26alt%3Drss” pluginspage=”https://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer”></embed>
But it only gives me the text/code on the page, it doesn’t show the slideshow.
This should work even without plugins, no? And if so, where is a simple plugin that only enhances the page/posting options some (I like the WP 2.5 picture system except for the lack of a slideshow, so I am going to embed Picasa slideshows at the top of my picture page, and then the pictures uploaded to the webpage below them (which will be where they enter to comment on the pictures)).
Sorry if that was messy.
Thankful for any help,
Anton
