• Hi there,
I am having a problem with one of our sites https://www.porscheroadandrace.com and we have Jetpack by WordPress.com vers. 4.5. It does not automatically post to our social network places, i.e. Twitter, FB, Google+.

It used to publish automatically to social media but it is not doing it now. The boxes to FB and Twitter were ticked when I published, but unticked when I went to have a look after it was published. Any idea what the problem could be this time around?
    Thanks a lot! Elke

This is to be expected; once a post is published, you can’t use Publicize anymore.

That said, Publicize should have been triggered in the first place! Could you tell me more about how you published your last few posts? Did you use a third-party plugin or app when writing the posts, did you schedule them or publish them right away?

I was told its the fact that it doesn’t work any more is known fact and that it will be fixed in the next version. Where can I get previous version so I can downgrade?

    Hi Jeremy,
We published right away so we could check quickly whether or not it posted to social media. I don’t think I used a special plugin to write the post. Not aware of one.

    Regards,
    Elke

@tonytbn There are indeed a few issues with Publicize for scheduled posts right now. However @virtualmotorpix doesn’t appear to be scheduling their posts so that won’t apply to them I’m afraid.

You can find all versions of Jetpack here:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/jetpack/developers/

@virtualmotorpix Thanks for the extra details. Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1. Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2. Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4. Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5. Click the “Contact Support” button to send us the debug results privately. It’s best not to post this information on public forums, as it contains private details about your site.

    Thanks!
