Blacklisted IP not working

    I have a site where i have black listed an IP individual ( but i get the same result with a range of IP’s) as they repeatedly try to Login as Admin with correct info.

    I have Brute Force set up and the IP is still getting through and logging attempts to log into the site.

    Has this anything to do with 4.7.1/2 as i have only just started getting these issues?

    Hi, do you have any of the following enabled. This is located under Firewall -> Basic Firewall Rules.

    1. Completely Block Access To XMLRPC:
    2. Disable Pingback Functionality From XMLRPC:

    Hello,

    Completely Block Access to XMLRPC is not checked.
    Disable Pingback FunctionalityFrom XMLRPC is Checked.

    Hi John, just for testing purposes can you try enable the following Completely Block Access To XMLRPC: and disable the other other one you have enabled. I want to see if this works.
