• Hi,

    My web support person removed the ability to leave comments on my page however he left behind “0 Comments” on the archives page. How do I remove ALL traces of comments on the site? https://www.swellcityguide.com and click on “Archives”.

    Also, is there anyway to have pictures on the 2nd page (my archive page)? The archives page looks so dull compared to the cover page of the web.

    I’m a complete novice so take it easy on me in terms of directions…

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Thanks!!!!

  • As for the comments, you probably need to delete the reference to the comments_popup_link in the apporpriate Template files.

    For instance, using the WordPress Default theme, you would delete this code from the wp-content/themes/default/index.php script to not display the Comments link on the main posts page:

    <?php comments_popup_link('No Comments »', '1 Comment »', '% Comments »'); ?>

    Also see Template Hierarchy to learn which Templates WordPress is invoking.
