Garbage in the database of SEO Yoast data

    During the six months of my site database size by WordPress increased almost tenfold. Using PHPMyAdmin I have found that most of the weight is within the section wp_options (500 MB). Inside it is okrlo 500 pages, and almost each of them here this text: wpseo_sitemap_40999_cache_validator (see photo).
    What is it all about? How to clean the database from this garbage?

  • I’ve had the same issue Apple. Using the Delete Expired Transients plugin fixed the issue for me. Hope it solves your problem as well.
