Decent Plugin But…

  • This is a good plugin I use on several of my sites, but with which I have had a few problems and am considering moving away from.

    The current problem I’m experiencing is with both Hueman Pro and Twenty Twelve themes the tooltips seem to pop up partially off-screen, making them useless.

    In addition, there are free and pro versions of the app and imho the plugin is a bit on the pricey side at $30/single site/yr. I’d probably pay $30/yr. for unlimited sites, but not $30 each site.

    One feature that is especially lacking is the ability to link out to an arbitrary number of external links from a glossary entry, the plugin is currently limited to one external site entry.

    The ability to only auto-link the first occurrence of a term on a page is a pro feature, meaning unless you upgrade you’ll have to have every instance of the word show up as linked.

    So it is a good plugin, but one which I’m not sure I want to tie my cart to.
