• Hi. I’m developing a site at this location https://260.41b.myftpupload.com/ .

    (1) Can anybody help me figure out why my custom styling doesn’t show up on my iPhone? I really wanted to launch the site this weekend but I’m stuck on the mobile view.

I have created some nice custom colors/fonts for menus, page content, etc., and all I see on my iPhone is a dull, plain vanilla page.

    (2) I have a sneaky suspicion that the Header Image plugin I’m using is the culprit. I’m using different header images on many of the pages, but the mobile view doesn’t pull those in (it stays with the home page header image). I would love to fix that as well.

    (3) Last of all: I hid the **site title** on the home page (it’s on top of the banner image, thus redundant). But now, on the mobile view, there’s this large area of padding at the top… maybe it’s for the (hidden) site title? I wouldn’t mind displaying it on mobile phones. But if not, I at least need to get rid of that padding. Any thoughts?

Thanks so much to anyone who can help with any of these issues! I’m not an advanced coder and I’m stumped!

    Hello people,

I solved the problem. Realized that “mobile theme” needed to be turned off in Jetpack settings, as 2014 is already a mobile theme.

I had seen reference to this in other threads, but the other references located that setting in Appearances. Maybe that was in an older version of WordPress? In any case, it’s not under Appearances for me. It’s in the Jetpack settings.
