    Hi,

I’m using CPTUI to create custom post types and ACF Pro to create custom fields. I added a term to the Glossary, but it doesn’t seem to be seeing the term on the CPT in the ACF field. Is there something I need to do to make this plugin work with CPT’s and/or ACF fields?

    Thanks,
    Dave

I never used this combination but I have to ask if you checked the CPT you created into the settings panel of the plugin before starting investigating on this issue.

Maybe I didn’t understand what’s the goal, can you give me a more detailed example?

You mean under Glossary Terms –> Settings –> Enable In did I make the checkboxes marked next to each of the CPT’s? If so, the answer is yes, screenshot below:

Essentially what I did was as follows:
    1. Create a CPT using the plugin CPTUI.
    2. Added a field group and fields to the CPT using ACF Pro.
    3. Configured Glossary to operate as mentioned above on this CPT.
    4. Added a glossary term that displays when viewing one of the CPT posts.

When I pull up that CPT post, there is no glossary link.

You can see the CPT post here:

The term I added to the glossary was “CRM” – which you will see is on the page.

You can see the glossary term here:

    Thanks,

It is very strange, we use internally CMB2 for the metabox and for the fields.
The pro version of the plugin include the feature for create new fields in an easy way.

    Hi,
Could you say me how you resolve the problem ?
I have the same problems here. All the settings seems correct but no tooltip in the acf content.
    Thank you very much,

Because Glossary is executed inside the the_content filter or the_excerpt and ACF fields are not this kind of content.
Infact there is no official support of this plugin to ACF, the only way to have that support is to study for us how works acf and add option for it but is not in our roadmap right now beucase the Pro version of the plugin itself has the feature for add new fields to the glossary terms.

    I don’t think I ever did resolve this. :-/

The next version in the PRO version will have the support for ACF 4 and 5.
Every field will have a checkbox to enable the GLossary support on his content ??

We released the new version with the ACF support for the PRO version ??
