As of wordpress 4.7 Customize options cannot be saved

I must admit I’ve not had a chance to test with 4.7 my self yet, so I was not aware of this, thank you for the heads up!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, it’s been a bit hectic so I didn’t get a change to check it last week, and as such did not have anything new to share here until now.

I’ve had a chance to test it now, and I see what you mean about changes not saving as they should. I think I see what is causing it, and will hopefully have a fix out for it some time tomorrow ??

Sorry for the delay here. Although I did find the root cause, it took some more time to handle it in an appropriate manner than I had expected.

Version 1.6.6, which is a fix for the save issue, is going out shortly (the code is being pushed as I write this), but due to the nature of the problem a data migration is required, because of this I would highly recommend doing a backup first (just to be on the safe side).

Works perfectly. Thank you so very much. Sorry for pestering you so much. While I am not bound by this (I.E. it’s easy enough for me to just call another sheet where these settings are stored), losing the functionality handicaps my ability to make it super simple for end users to make drastic changes to their site. My framework makes very good use of this plugin and I enjoy it’s reliability and the ease that it allows.

Fwiw, while I’m not too well versed in plugins, I did have a look to see if I could fix it myself, but honestly I’m simply not familiar enough with the WP core.
