Not working with iThemes security plugin

  • Hi,

    I installed WP Hide and fully configured it a few weeks ago. My site is currently in development mode with debug info.

    The last few days, I have been unable to access the WordPress login page when logged out. It comes up with the following debug error:

    Notice: Undefined index: better-wp-security/better-wp-security.php in /hsphere/local/home/mydatabase/mywebsite.com/foldername/pluginfoldername/wp-hide-security-enhancer/modules/components/rewrite-new_plugin_path.php on line ….

    I can only access my login page if I disable the WP-Hide along with iThemes plugins by renaming them using FTP. Once I am logged on, I can reactivate both plugins and still be able to access my dashboard. Although WP Hide no longer allows me to update any further plugin rewrite paths.

    Also, under the Rewrite/Plugins tab, where the headings say “New Path for (Plugin Name) plugin”, for the iThemes plugin it says only the following “New Path for plugin” with no plugin name in the heading.

    Hi,
    I’am not sure what’s wrong, it must be something related to a recent change on your side.
    From the notice you sent, it appear this has changed “better-wp-security/better-wp-security.php” ? can you check your wp-content/plugins folder for that path?

    Can you try to reset the plugin settings (see the Reset All Settings on top-right area on plugin page).
