    This looks good:

Apart from Quicktime support it does the job and is easy to use (though have to type the tags)

Thanks for posting this. I have been pulling my hair out the last couple of days what with errors encountering on IE.

Happy to see that it’s useful to post even self-discovered solutions.
I believe this is a good choice. The only thing you might miss is a preview/splash image (to appear instead of a black playback rectangle). On my wish list.

actually, i do get that video preview image when I’m posting a video from youtube. I haven’t tried other kinds of videos.

    This one seems decent too:

One feature that neither of these have, and the Embedded Video did have, is the ability to browse your media library. That’s a nice feature to avoid having to find the URl and paste it in. For my clients who are not so adept at these things I need it to be as simple as possible.

    THE BEST!!!!!

@mikeque except, yeah, it doesn’t have a media library browser, but if it did it would by FAR surpass all the other video embed plugins. This one takes youtube, your own FLV, or any URL that contains a FLV…

With you tube, for example, you give it the URL to the video… and it plays the youtube video in JW player!!!! So you don’t have to have that ugly looking youtube player on your nice looking site. ??

    ProPlayer !

kjetilgf, you NEED to try this one! It’s so simple yet powerful. We should all flock to this video plugin, and encourage it’s development and soon it will take over! I’m going to contact the guy that made it and tell him he needs a media browser. ??

Ooohh.. and one other good idea!!! ProPlayer should have a upload feature to upload FLV files!
