paypal says there is a problem with the Paypal email address?

    Greetings!

    i have installed your plugin as a replacement for the directly inserted button code that was previously used on a website i am fixing. i have entered the merchant code into the plugin settings and created a button. when i click the button i am taken to paypal and see this:

    We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the “Ask Seller a Question” link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at https://www.paypal.com.

    Since your plugin does not ask for an email address, i am not clear wht that problem is here. i am informed that the paypal address has recently received a donation via a direct payment. the button can be seen at the bottom of this site: https://thebasesproject.org/

    Hi,

    Please make sure that your merchant id is entered correctly. If you copied and pasted it you may have missed a character.

    Or, you can use an email address instead.

    aha, ok – thanks. i have no way to verify the merchant id as it is not my account, but i have used the email address and it is all working fine now.
