    Hi,

I took this project over from someone else and one of the site issues is that the hamburger menu opens but won’t close when you click on a link you have to click on the ‘X’ in the hamburger box. I have “Close Menu on Link Clicks” turn on but it doesn’t seem to work. This is the most major fix that needs to be done on this site so hopefully, someone can get back to me soon on this, it would be super appreciated it.

    Hi there,

Unfortunately something is overwriting the menu link classes with this menu-image-title-after which is breaking my plugin.

This could be coming from your theme, a plugin or custom coding so if you can find out where this is coming from and disable it all will be working ok again.

    Hope that helps

I could just go in and try to change it, what file would I need to edit?

Also, thank you for getting back to me so fast.

Okay, I found it was the “Menu Image” plugin. Which, normally I’d just be like whatever and turn off, but this client is super fussy that he wants nothing to look different is there a way to get both to work together?

    Hi there,

Unfortunately that’s not how it works, a plugin, custom function or your theme is overriding my plugins code.

You need to find the offending code (it appears to be something to do with menu images) and disable it or speak to the plugin author about why they are completely overwriting the menu classes.

    All the best

    Hi there,

Please search through these forums as this plugin has caused issues before (although I thought the plugin author had fixed this).

There are alternatives suggested in the other forum posts that may help you out.

    Please let me know

He did make changes it just hasn’t been pushed up yet. But I did download his github version and that did fix this problem. It did cause other problems but now they are not problems with this. LOL. Thank you so much for your help and getting back to me so fast.
