    Hi,

Great plugin, very excited to try it out!

However, after some initial hiccups getting it to work from the admin editor, I find that it works on my new custom post types (after clearing my caching plugins) but it doesn’t work on my existing pages or posts. On clicking the smaller blue button “Edit with Elementor” above the wordpress editor, I just get a “Page updated” link on top without loading the Elementor interface.

    Please see: https://prnt.sc/e9dcfg and https://prnt.sc/e9dcrc

It works on a new post, page or custom post type. But not existing ones.
    Any idea why?

I got almost the same problem, since yesterday (or the last update?!)

    Need a solution 2!

Re: Unable to Edit with Elementor on existing pages

Isn’t that a common and major problem that most page builders don’t like to acknowledge, that they don’t play nice with EXISTING content?

Not so sure about that BizStars! Because, I got it to work on existing pages too, just that I found out that it is conflicting with the MashShare plugin. I had to deactivate all plugins again and check once more, while clearing out my cache several times.

Can someone please check this plugin conflict and possibly fix it in the next update? Basically, I get a 500 Internal Server error in the Admin Editor area when pressing F12 and Console tab, when MashShare plugin is also activated.

Has anyone come up with a fix for MashShare plugin conflict? And how long did it take you to find this plugin conflict by going through the arduous process of deactivating and reactivating all of your plugins etc?

same problem here: I updated with the latest one and suddenly it started not working anymore.

Unfortunately it’s still there. I found that I couldn’t update my post’s visibility – it conflcited with another plugin which I had to stop using. Though I have gotten it to load on existing pages and posts as well.

It’s still buggy though, and keeps conflicting.

Can someone from plugin support please help asap? Multiple customers seem to be having this issue!

I am wondering if it’s related, but I am getting a white screen once I go back to a page I have created in Elementor. So the page exists but I just cant edit it again!

I have tried switching off plugins and so on.. but it’s not happy.

Hey guys – just to add that Elementor breaks with SQUIRRLY SEO for some reason we have not found yet.

    Thread Starter hifunda

    (@hifunda)

Yes I found it broke with Squirrly plugin too. I just had to stop using these conflicting plugins to make sure Elementor didn’t break my site.

I am appalled that noone from support has respondedy yet to this thread yet I am part of a thriving comunity on facebook where they share info, new templates, and market their PRO product.

VERY. BAD. SUPPORT. Will have to uninstall Elementor soon.

How did this just get marked as resolved??
