• In Twentyseventeen hosted on my commercial hosting service, blog page visibility is always public, even when password or privacy is selected.

Ability to modify page visibility changed when plug-in Jetpack was activated. De-activating the plug-in has not restored ability to modify page visibility.

Adding the plug-in Page Restrict did not restore visibility control, nor did de-activing that plug-in

Other installed Plug-ins not thought to affect page visibility are Members and Minor Improvements. Minor Improvements are not activated. Members was activated, hoping for a fix, then de-activated when I learned that page-level access is not provided by that plug-in.

Page visibility for the blog page, which is titled ‘Members Forum’, is set to password for the purpose of this topic. Password = password

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
