Video Featured Image – First Frame

  • Hi, if you add a video to a page/post but the first frame is blank white; the video appears as a white box until you press play. Is there a way to get the featured-image for that video to show as the pre-play frame, like youtube automatically selects a frame from somewhere within the video or allows you to choose a frame to show before you press play.
    Adding a featured-image for the video (in media) doesn’t seem to help.
