Help! Team WD & Comments Allowed to be edited

    Hi, I have set “contributors” for some of the members and they are only allowed to the following:-

    Create Post
    Delete Post
    Edit Post
    Edit Published Post
    Read

    But I found out that now the members are also able to moderate comments (they can access comments admin section) and add new profiles for the Team WD plugin even though they are not granted access to do so. Please help on how to rectify this. Thanks

    WordPress allows to moderate comments to the user, who can edit a post to which those comments were sent.

    I can say nothing about “Team WD” plugin as I don’t have it on hands for testing and checking its code. It seems that it can use ‘edit_posts’ for its functionality protection.

    “Admin menu access” add-on included into User Role Editor Pro helps to block unneeded admin menu items, when it’s not possible to achieve via revoke of user capabilities.
