    Hi all

I have set all my users to be under “Subscriber” role – they are allowed to create & edit post (but cannot publish) and read posts (only these options ticked under the plugin). But apparently users can also access “Comments” section and edit them. How to disable them from accessing the Comments admin section using the plugin? Comments only allowed for Admins. Thanks

P.s. We also have Team WD plugin to store staff directory. How to set the users from not accessing the Team WD add new profile page?

Unfortunately, WordPress displays the comments screen for users who have the edit_posts capability. There’s no way to control that via capabilities at the moment.

This is a 7-year-old issue in WP: https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/12104

As for the Team WD plugin, you’ll need to ask the plugin author about what capabilities are used.
