Unfortunately the guide to use API is not the same when opened so it took me to find info elsewhere. But once API works this is a wonderful plugin.

Thanks for trying Maps Builder, sorry your experience wasn’t awesome. Most often when things don’t work well immediately it’s an issue with the Google Maps API configuration, or a conflict with another plugin — things we can’t predict or control.

But one of the “benefits” of our plugin is our support. We’d love to help you out if you’d like this to work well for you. Let us know where you struggled and we can help for sure.

    Thanks!

Thanks for your support. I would be glad to give it another try for sure.

Great, did you review any of our documentation on how to setup the Google Maps API key?
    https://wordimpress.com/documentation/maps-builder-pro/creating-maps-api-key/

If you have, and it’s not showing well on the front-end, can you provide me a link so I can see the problem live? Often other plugins or your theme also enqueue the Maps API Javascript which can cause conflits, but we have custom snippets that can help you remove them so that it’s only enqueued once.

Let me know about those items and we’ll get it resolved. Thanks!

I give up. If I insert an iframe it works. If I use any other WP instrument (not only yours) it gives me an error: Google API Error: Please include your Google Maps API key in the plugin settings to start using the plugin. An valid API key with Google Maps and Places API access to your website is now required due to recent changes by Google. Getting an API key is free and easy. Learn how to obtain a Google Maps API key

But I did. And it’s the same API that I use for the iframe HTML.

If you have domains set in the HTTP Referrer fields you might first try removing them to get it up and working correctly. Often they need a very specific formatting to work correctly.

I am not sure of what HTTP referrer are and where I do get it in my WP.

Sorry now I understand what you mean. FYI the API is unrestricted.

Ok finally after over a month I have figured out. The link to help on API shows a page which is different than what I had. So I had to search other tutorials. Finally I have figured out and now it works fine.

Thanks for the update. Google has been changing their API console very rapidly, it’s hard to keep up our docs.

Once you have time to work with Maps Builder a bit more, I’d love it if you could update your Star rating. We’d appreciate it, or of course any additional feedback you might have.

    Thanks!
