    Hello, sorry if this question has been asked before!

    What i’m trying to do is ‘move’ the content on the home page to another page called blogs. by move i mean having a page called blogs that displays all posts (with the content – not just a list of links) and the home page is just a static file, with a list of latest 5 or so posts. I tried copying the code of the code of the main index template to a new template file called blogs, however when i open the blogs page, it just does not display anything.
    Any ideas what i’m doing wrong?

    im using the Desk Mess theme at the moment, howerver i’m working towards making my own theme and i was hoping it wud be possible to have all the blog posts on a seperate page!

    On your Dashboard, goto Settings->Reading.

    In the Front Page Displays settings, select A static page.

    If you’re using the original index.php file as the front page, skip over the Front Page box. If you’re using a new template file, locate it in the dropdown box and select it.

    In the Post Page box, locate your Blog template and select it.

    Now, save your changes and voila, the content will appear on your Blog page.
