Passing ACF field into contact form 7

    Hi Guys
    I was surprised no one asked that question:
    is this plugin compatible with ACF?
    how can I pass an ACF field into contact form 7 using this plugin?
    does that consdier “custom field”
    would love to have answer

    Hi hamergil,

    As long as you have a shortcode that returns the value you want (in this case, the ACF field), you can use it with this plugin. So there’s no special compatibility, it’s just the availability (or creation) of a shortcode.

    i have registered some custom post types containing ACF fields that i’d like to fetch on a contact form 7 form…

    Hi JC,

    So it looks like ACF has a shortcode

    https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/shortcode/

    You’d use that shortcode to retrieve the value of your field within CF7 DTX
