    Hi,

Over the course of a day, I created two full backups, and in each case, the backup files were eventually deleted on the server.

Settings had the files placed here:

    wp-content/uploads/backup-guard

I was able to view the backup files while connected to my hosting provider (1&1), but then some time later (hour or two), the files were no longer there.

Only the backup files have been removed, the directory structure remains intact.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Might be you’ve checked the option to automatically delete local backup copies after upload?

Checkout the following regarding that: https://backup-guard.com/products/backup-wordpress/doc/auto-delete-local-backups

    Thank you for the reply.

Is this a setting only available on the purchased version?

The only options I see under settings are:

    Reload Enabled – On/Off
    Ajax refresh frequency –
Backup Destination path – hardcoded to wp-content/uploads/backup-guard, not able to change.

There are no options for me make the changes to the settings you reference.

    Thanks

Yes, the mentioned feature is included in Gold and Platinum versions at this moment. The full list of features you can find here: https://backup-guard.com/products/backup-wordpress/
