Is there any way to disable the Podcast feed from doing the rewrite? Every site with Sermon Manager makes my sitemap invalid. If I disable Sermon Manager, the sitemap is fine again. It has something to do with the Ipod feed being written.

Hey @kilmanagh, could you please send an email to [email protected] with details about this if its still an issue.

wpforchurch.com is currently transitioning to a new owner (us) so we want to make sure all support requests are answered as promptly as possible, and of course our priority will be to clean up any bugs asap.

    Hi @kilmanagh,

We have fixed the issue with Yoast SEO showing invalid feed. Please could you update and let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,
    Igor

Awesome – thanks so much for fixing this Igor! This particular bug has been plaguing Sermon Manager users for years.

BTW you might want to note (perhaps add to the Changelog or something) that after updating to version 2.0.6 which fixes this bug, it’s also necessary to go to the Permalink Settings page and click “Save Changes” once, for the fix to take effect and for the Yoast feed to start working again.

FYI, this bug was also outlined on Sermon Manager’s BitBucket site here:
    https://bitbucket.org/wpforchurch/sermon-manager-for-wordpress/issues/61/conflict-with-seo-by-yeost-rewrite

I wonder if you plan to check out the other issues there at BitBucket? Some of them are very old, but I suppose some of them might still be current issues that also need resolving. ??

    Hi @germankiwi,

Great, glad it been resolved ??

Yeah good point regarding the permalink settings, we’ll include that in the changelog.

We’ll take a look at the BitBucket issues too, thanks.

    Igor
