Could not open socket – Port is open

    Hi,

    I’m trying to configure the plugin, I’m having some difficulties establishing a connection with my mail server.

    When I do the connectivity test, port 587 is open and accepts login with CRAM-MD5. But when I try and send a test email, I get this error: “Could not open socket”.

    I tried using the other connection methods such as STARTTLS but they are not allowed.

    What can I do to fix this?
