    Using Mailpoet Version 3.0.0-beta.20

    When I edit an Email
    https://example.com/WPTestPlugin/wp-admin/admin.php?page=mailpoet-newsletter-editor&id=7
an autosave function is active. I noticed it because I tried to undo my last change by navigating away, but that did not work. It was saved while I did not hit the Save or Next button. This was confusing to me.
There is a “Autosaved” text to the right of the buttons, but it does not disappear when I change something. Sometimes I can see “Autosaved Saving…” for a short while. But I don’t feel that helps.

    – What is the purpose of a Save button when Autosave is active?
    – How to I revert from an Autosave?
    – Does Next also Save?

    Hello, polev!

    Thank you for the feedback.

Currently in the newsletter editor newsletter contents are automatically saved after each and every change, so your changes would be less likely to get lost in case of accidentally closed window or lost network connection.

Autosaving is always enabled and at the moment there is no way to disable it, however you do raise a great point about the “Save” button.
I agree that it could be clearer when autosave is in progress and when contents were last saved, we’ll consider this in future improvements – thanks!.

As for having the option to undo changes – it is in our pipeline for improvement in the future.

“Don’t Make Me Think” is a great book!

    Regards,
    MailPoet Team.

I got burnt several time by this auto save feature.

Please consider a short term option of disabling auto save.

    Thanks
