• Howdy –

    Thanks for looking.

    I’ve got one blog which I have been diligently adding articles to and updating the site map, and in response to the articles (seeming) I have seen the traffic go up from around a half dozen unique visits a day to around 60, and then four days ago, all traffic (according to WP stats) absolutely flatlines…zero traffic. This is totally new. At no time since launching this blog in August has there been a day with 0 visits.

    Any ideas what this might be caused by? I update the xml sitemap each time I write an article.

  • I’m not sure what the problem might be, but I have a similar issue.

    WordPress.com Stats plugin says no visits since install, yet the StatPress Plugin says I have many.

    I found my problem. I was missing the
    <?php wp_footer(); ?>
    in my template file.

    Maybe that should be moved into the installation instructions?

    TravisWertz, thanks for resolving this. I run a website with 2000+ visitors per day according to the counter and, well, the obvious traffic; and WP-Stats was showing 0 visitors per day for the past two months. I do hope it will work now.

    I have the same problem. Have no idea why. It seems like the <?php wp_footer(); ?> is there.
