Possible to sort posts by rating system instead of date?

  • Hi, my blog is a list of reviews of stores and services, and if possible I’d like them to appear sorted according to rating (highest to lowest), rather than date posted. Not sure if this is possible, or how to do it if it is.

    Obviously it requires two steps – one, creating a custom field that recognizes numerical values, and then two, telling the blog to sort according to that custom field.

    I wondered if you could help me. Do you know how to sort posts by date? In my blog posts are put on the home page randomly regardless of date, rating, views or feeds.

    Never mind!

    I just deleted the theme, and reinstalled it. Did not loose any content.

    Problem solved.
