Can’t get this to work now

    This did work fine but since updating wordpress zilch. Keeps telling me there is an error in my file:

    There was an error while uploading your CSV file, Invalid file type.

    This despite using your store exporter and just modifying one field and saving it again.

    Any ideas please?? Can you also confirm that variations are only supported in the Pro version?

    Hi @patsky, thanks for asking. That’s weird that things blew apart after updating WordPress. What version of WordPress are you now using? What’s the filename of your import file as we’re limited to .csv, .txt and .tsv from memory. Happy to look at this further with you.

    Hi @patsky, yeah this one is on me. It looks like I’ve broken the filetype detection in the most recent Plugin release, I’ll roll back that change and push a minor Plugin update on Monday morning to resolve this.

    Hi @patsky, managed to dislocate my shoulder over the weekend so Monday was at 50% efficiency. I’ll get my wall of Support tickets out of the way and get a minor Plugin release out ??

    Thanks Michael. Works perfectly thanks – just that the fields I need are now in the pro version!! I thought Merge changes with existing used to be in this – am I dreaming? Thanks though.

    Hi @patsky, glad it’s now working! Merge has always been Pro functionality as we do a lot of data processing before applying changes. In this free Plugin you could nuke your Products before each new batch import but you’d lose your sales reporting of Product sales over time. Hope this helps ??
