    Guys,

I am using the WPComplete PRO plugin and all is well, but do have a couple of questions.

    1. I could really like to place the button in the middle of the page but when using the meta box it gets places it in the left corner. Could I move it to the middle with CSS? Maybe this would be a nice feature to add to the metabox (left, right, or center) placement.

    2. I tried to place a button using short code to see if I could center the button that way but the short code is not working. I have a new install with a Genesis theme. I used the shortcode to place a progress bar in a widget, but I can’t get it to work on a page.

    Thanks.

  • Hi @gswaim! Thanks for reaching out.

    1. You should definitely be able to adjust the placement of the button using CSS.

    2. Can you explain this a little more? We aren’t seeing a problem with this on our end. What version of the plugin are you using?

Looks like the issue with the shortcode not working was related to unchecking of the checkbox enabling the post to be completed.

When you unchecked the WPComplete checkbox, you disabled that post from being completable. This means that it won’t show the button on that page (regardless of if you use the shortcode or not).

Checking that checkbox again will enable the page for completion. This will allow you to use the shortcode and place it anywhere on the page. If you don’t use the shortcode, the plugin will just append to the end of the page.
