• cloudfront image storage

    • ecwid embedded product code severely inhibits our user’s experience. It increases our website load time from 2 seconds to 25 seconds. HORRIBLE
    • New “pretty” urls are still really, really ugly! And, ecwid keeps magically creating STORE pages.

    Hello,

This is Ecwid customer team. My name is Charlie.

Really sorry you are having any sort of negative experience with us.

I’ve checked your store at https://ifinallyquit.com/store/, and tested its performance. The home page scored 5.58 sec and the page with a shop — 3.67 sec.

To help your merchants improve the performance of their websites, Ecwid has Interactive load — accelerated and improved load of javascript.

I’ve tested your store from different angles(different devices) and every time the result was very promising.

However, when you believe, that your store’s loading speed has increased, since you added Ecwid on your website, this is understandable — another javascript to load, a bit of CSS, new images. But the store loads moderately fast on my end, anyways.

If you believe, that there is still a problem, we can investigate your .HAR-file. Please, send it to us at [email protected] and mark it ‘Ecwid WordPress Loading Speed’. I will submit a report to our engineers and they will investigate this. Check out this guide on how to generate the .HAR-file.

Thank you for reaching out to us, and I appreciate further cooperation.

    Best regards,
    Charlie, Ecwid team

it’s not the “store” page or shop that is causing the horrible load times. it’s the homepage. it’s YOUR images on the homepage causing the issues.

    Hi!

I went to check the products on the Home page of your https://ifinallyquit.com/ site but it is not reachable for some reason. Are you having issues with your ISP provider now? You might want to use your Starter Site (Ecwid control panel > Settings > Starter Site) till these technical issues get resolved. When your WordPress site is up and running again, please let us know so that we could check it further. Thank you.

    Hello,

We are very, very sorry to hear that. Anyway, if you still need help — we are here and ready to assist.

I’ve just checked your store page — it loads for about 3-4 seconds. Could you please describe what exact difficulties you are experiencing with our plugin now? And what embedded code do you mean?

Please give us another chance to define the issue and fix it. Your feedback is highly important for us!

    Thank you!
