Google Analytics Plugin code

  • I cannot find this code anywhere.

    It says here that if I had switched off admin logging, I will not be able to view the code. Even after multiple google searches, I haven’t been able to figure out what they mean by “switching off admin logging”.

    Can someone help me figure this out before I rip my hair out!?

    Did you enable the plugin and enter your Analytics code?

    Why is an Analytics plugin even needed anyway? I just put the Analytics code into my theme files just before the closing </body> tag.
