reset email message spoofing

    I would like the forgotten password emails that start

    Someone has requested a password reset for the following account:

    to come from something like

    manager <manager@………..

    instead of

    WordPress <wordpress@……………..

    I have looked and so far not found (add_filters etc are being ignored)

    Which filters did you try to add? Where did you place your code? ‘wp_mail_from’ and ‘wp_mail_from_name’ filters should work.

    I add the filter ‘wp_mail_from’ with a suitable function that returns my preferred email from.

    The screen has this link.

    Forgot/lost your password?

    Wnen a user clicks on that link, it goes to wordpress forgot password but ignores the filter.
