WordPress One-Click Update Broken – Dashboard Shows “version -“
-
Hello!
Something about my WordPress site is broken. Every time a core update comes out, WordPress does not realize that the version available is newer than the one installed.
My dashboard Updates page reads:
You have the latest version of WordPress. If you need to re-install version –, you can do so here:
Re-install Now Hide this updateThis localized version contains both the translation and various other localization fixes. You can skip upgrading if you want to keep your current translation.
Learn more about WordPress 4.7.3.
Previously, it read “Learn more about WordPress 4.7”. I clicked “Re-Install Now” and got a completely blank page that did nothing. I had to update to 4.7.3 manually for security reasons.
How can I get WordPress to realize what version it is on so that the one-click update will be available?
Thank you!!!!!
