Can’t get like box to show

Thanks for reaching out for assistance. You mentioned that you have “the box ticked under MISC settings” but the box that you tick is to just display the Like Box. The setting is called, ” Show the like box” and you would tick the box next to it as indicated.

However, right below that setting is another setting called “Position” with a dropdown box with arrows next to it. You would select “Top” in the dropdown box which means it will place the “Like Box” at the top of the feed. Make sure you click on “Save Changes” after having changed the setting.

Let me know if this works and your Like Box is now appearing at the top of your feed.

Hi, thank for the reply. I have the ‘show the like box’ ticked and the position is at the top. But it doesn’t show the like box – instead it’s showing the header – ‘View on Facebook’. Even though I have unticked the option to show a header. Interestingly, when I change the like box position from top to bottom – the header moves to the bottom. Something isn’t right.

Do you have anything in the following setting field: Customize > Misc > Misc Settings > Facebook App ID? If so, could you try removing it and leaving it blank to see whether that resolves the issue?

No, nothing in there. Can’t work it out!

Would it be possible to copy and paste your “System Info” from our plugin so that I can take a look at your settings? This can be found in your WordPress Dashboard at: Facebook Feed > Support > System Info
