    Misleading statement:
    “Create a POWr account to access the entire plugin library.”

    Factually corrected statement:
    “You must create an account on our powr website before this plugin will do anything!”

    Note to developer: If you feel you have a good plugin, forcing people to create an account on your website may not be the best approach.

    The plugin, after installation, redirects the visitor to a confusing webpage with only one option > agree to a 16-page terms and conditions starting with:
    “You agree to pay to POWr any fees for each Service you purchase or use (including any overage fees),”

    Additionally the “Why do I need an account?” link results in a:

    Your plugin may actually do something interesting but am not sure if many busy people will take the time to jump through all these obstacles you have created in order to find out.

    Really sorry to hear you’ve had a negative experience :(.

    Regarding account creation, we do indeed require a POWr Account for our plugins. That is because POWr is a cloud-based library…you can add your plugins not just to your WordPress page, but also to any Blogs, Facebook pages, or other websites. We try to be as clear as possible about this in both the description and FAQ.

    Thanks for bringing to our attention the broken account page. I just fixed that link. It should be: https://www.powr.io/knowledge-base/257

    And just to be clear, the free version of POWr is entirely free. The paid plans are available to access upgraded features.
