I’m subscribed for my own site’s jetpack email subscription list to monitor any issues. I noticed an email didn’t go out today even though there was a new post.

I disabled the plugin and re-enabled it. The jetpack widgets for the sidebar didn’t show up until I connected a wordpress.com account. Then I tried to sign up for the email list with a new email address. I am not getting any of the promised confirmation emails for sign up so I know it’s working properly.

Anyone know what might be wrong? I got a boost from an interview and want to make sure I’m capturing as many new subscribers as possible.

I pulled the plugin off the site for now so I don’t get new readers thinking they’ve successfully subscribed when they haven’t. The site is wwww.themoneyhabit.org

    Thanks for your help.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

I had a look at your site, and you seem to be using a different email subscription system right now; those forms aren’t provided by Jetpack:

    https://i.wpne.ws/jYRh
    https://i.wpne.ws/jXtx

That said, Jetpack’s Subscriptions module is still active on your site and I was consequently able to sign up thanks to the subscription options appearing at the bottom of the comment form on one of your posts. I received the confirmation email right away, and you can now see me in your subscriber list in Jetpack.

Everything appears to work properly on my end.

If you’d like, you can send me an email via this contact form and mention this thread, as well as a few examples of the email addresses that didn’t receive any email. I’ll be happy to take a look at our email logs to find out what happened.

Thank you for checking. As I mentioned, I pulled the it off the sidebar because I didn’t want new readers to mistakenly sign up for it. I don’t know why it’s working in the comments section you tried but it’s definitely not working as a widget. I’ve re-enable it as a footer widget for you to see the problem. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the site there is now a Jetpack subscription module with the title “Join The Community”.

I’ve entered my email address and get no confirmation email. I’ve made sure the email I’m subscribing with is not already on the subscription list.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

I just subscribed using the Subscription widget in the footer; everything seems to work properly. You can now see another test from me in your subscriber list.

Could you send us your email address via the contact form I mentioned earlier? We’ll be able check our email logs to see why you’re not receiving any email.

    Thank you.
