• Just as the title says. My images are broken and can’t find out how to get them back.

    I went to wp-content > uploads > 2008 > 10 and I don’t see them there either.

And it gets better, my backup file is corrupted somehow. Talk about a bad day!!!

No, I am manually researching for each picture on the net and reinstalling them one-by-one manually. I spent 10hrs on it so far and another 20 – 30 hrs until I get them all back up. It’s tedious!

An upgrade of WordPress can’t delete things, unless you deleted them yourself by mistake. How did you upgrade?

I upgraded using the “WordPress Automatic Upgrade” plugin. I have used it many times and never had a problem before this. The backup system failed, too. When I go in the admin panel: Manage > Media Library, all the text is there, just no images. If I put in the URL https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/08/10/image.jpg, it’s just a 404 of no image found.

I’ve so far manually re-installed 50+ pictures, 115 more to go. uggh.
