Getting comments link to work

I just wanted to add a post in case anyone searches for the same issues I just had. I was unable to get my link to comments to work, and was unable to post new comments; every time I clicked on “No comments ->”, all I saw was the individual post’s page. The fix, as it turns out, is that I hadn’t included all the necessary files for a customized theme. I copied every file from the Default theme folder that I hadn’t yet added to my custom theme, and now it all works smoothly and I’m able to see my comments posting section.

Note the debugging strategy: revert to default theme, which worked, then find what’s missing.
