Keyboard Shortcut for Link Button in Text Editor

When writing in the text editor if I want to use the insert link popup, then I have to click on the link button to open it.

I understand that the purpose of text editor is to write HTML manually. However Insert Link popup allows users to search for posts and pages and is immensely helpful.

Users who write a lot of content and have to add links like several hundred times a day. A keyboard shortcut that brings up a popup will save users so much time.
