No option to customize columns

  • I have updated theme and all plugins.
    I have searched forums and see no answer.

    I cannot find the customize button to change from two column to one. I’ve looked EVERYWHERE. I’ve looked for this option using my iPhone, my iPad and my MacBook Pro. Nothing.

    I’m mystified.

    I found that the option for a single column is available when I switch to a static page but what I want is the option of posts with a single column.

    Dashboard>Appearance>Customize>Theme Options.
    FYI…pick up the plug in Advanced Twenty Seventeen…very convenient.

    Also, Visual Composer is a usefull plug-in for setting different column layouts on pages. You have to pay for it but I have found it a lot faster than coding columns manually.
