I have had it happen a few times now that i come to work in the morning and for some reason the feed in the plugin is showing 0 products but if i manually update, it goes back to normal showing several hundred products.
I have also set the update to happen once a day at a certain time and i come back later and it haven’t updated.

    Hello Andre,

Could you send me copy of the feed when it has the products in it? Maybe I can find something in the products that could case this issue.

As for the second issue, the update is triggered by a cron job. A cron job is only started when your website is visited. Is it possible that you have not that much visitors to your website around the update time? And also, be aware that the update time is triggered by the server time. The server time does not have to be the same as the actual time. So please check if the time on your server is correct.

I will try and set it to a time with more trafikk and see how that works.

And here is a feed with products in it.

    Did you get it now?

    (@michel-jongbloed)

Yes, got it. I just checked it and as far as I can tell they both just generate correctly.

    Could you try them again?

    Thread Starter andre95

    (@andre95)

Well the problem is not when i do it manually but when it’s suppose to do it automatic and it just turns to 0 products and processing.

A, sorry. I confused your issue with another one.

I selected them on active and will see what happens tomorrow.

    Andre,

Could you please upload this file: https://dropcanvas.com/d5lk5

    Then perform the following actions:

    1) Open your ‘wp-content/plugins/wp-product-feed-manager/includes/user-interface/js’ folder
    2) Make a backup copy of the ‘wppfm_feed-form.min.js’ file in this folder
    3) Copy the content of the file you’ve downloaded in this folder (overwriting the old file)

Then wait again if the solves the automatic update issue.

If not, would you mind sharing temporary ftp access to the server? That way I can install more debug code in order to identify the cause of this issue.

    (@andre95)

Uploaded the new file now, so lets hope that works.

    Thread Starter andre95

    (@andre95)

It didn’t work and you should have gotten an email about FTP access if not tell me.
Also for some reason after today the plugin just shows the put in license menu even though it is already activated.

    Plugin Contributor Michel Jongbloed

    (@michel-jongbloed)

    Yes, I got your mail.

The reason for the license menu is that you’re still in a 14 days trial period. That period was expired. I updated it for another 14 days.

    (@andre95)

    Ah, thank you.

    Hello Andre,

As far as I can test I got it working now. Please keep an eye on the auto feed updates, but I’m fairly sure it will work now.

But there is one product that has an incorrect attribute, causing a warning during feed updates. It is the product with product id 11286. If you look at the “product data” of it, it shows an ‘Array’ value for the PCK EANS attribute.

The feed now will produce even with this error, but you should really fix it before you publish a feed.

I will close this support ticket. Please reopen it again when you still encounter issues.

    Best regards,
    Michel

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
