    Hi,
    after having installed latest update of bbpress and messages I get the following error “Call to undefined function BBP_MESSAGES\Inc\Core\bbp_get_user_slug()”. I can even not open dashboard or any page of my website.

  • Hi, I remember having this problem,

    I think it’s to do with incorrect activation procedure of the plugins. Try this: Go to host Cpanel if you have it or FTp (filezilla?).

    Rename bbpress and bbpress messages folders (eg add XXX to name), this will deactivate the plugins and you should now be able to access your site. Return to Cpanel and rename files correctly. Return to site and activate plugins – bbpress first then messages.
