• Hi! i′ve updated contact fprm 7 to it latest vesion, and since then, when i try to configure a form, it takes a lot of time to process changes and then throws the following error: “Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home2/nata20a/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1613″…any idea why?

  • Are you running an up-to-date version of WordPress? If not then update. If yes, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. Another option would be to test with all other plugins disabled AND using a stock WordPress theme like Twenty-Seventeen. There may be a conflict there and this will help to identify if this is indeed the case. It is possible to extend the max execution time of PHP, but that would seem to be an unsatisfactory solution since the plugin is running so slowly.
