Update to new version and Link/Widget

    Hello,

    First thing, thank you for your work! I really like this program and thank you for make it free. We really appreciate your mission.

    I have to developer a website for making courses to teachers and parents of children with Autism problems. In this days I have try the demo version from the website and the plug-in in WordPress. An i found perfect for what I have to do!

    Could I ask if you thinking to update the plug-in in the future?
    Do you think will be the possibility to add a link or a widget by shortcode about a specific meeting in a specific page?

    I mean, We need to have a specific meeting room within in a specific page, so that people who come into that page can only activate specific room meeting.

    How I can do?
    Now I see only the possibility to add the widget in Siderbar with the dropdown menu.

    I have also think to use the link as in the demo, just put the link in the page, but the plug-in not generate a specific link. How I can do?

    Yes, there are plans to review and update the code over the summer. There may be a new version of the plugin, although the basic functionality this one provides (which also needs to be updated) shall stay there.

    It is not cleare though when exactly is this going to happen and neither the scope of the project.

    Did you try to use the shortcode already implemented? You would need to create the room using the admin UI and then add the short code to a page including the token. Something like:

    [bigbluebutton token=”a7ccc7f752f65″ submit”Meet me there!”]

    The widget is only for the side menu.

    Thank you so much for your kind response. I apologize I had not read the FAQ where there was said the shortcode! I tried it and now it works great!

    I read also the FAQ in the website. I’d like to help out, now I see what I can do because my programming level is not very high!
